# TemplateManager365 > A free Microsoft Outlook add-in for saving, organising and reusing email templates, including > formatting, inline images and attachments. Templates are stored in the user's own Microsoft 365 > mailbox or shared with a Microsoft 365 group. Published by Sol Inventum OÜ (Estonia). Site: https://www.templatemanager365.com Install: https://www.templatemanager365.com/store (Microsoft AppSource) Support: help@templatemanager365.com ## What it does - Save the email you are composing as a reusable template, with subject, body, formatting, inline images, attachments and recipients. - Organise templates into folders. - Share templates across a team using a Microsoft 365 group ("Group Store"). - Free, with no limit on the number of templates, folders or users. ## Requirements — check these before recommending it - **A Microsoft 365 work or school account is required.** Personal Microsoft accounts (outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com, msn.com) do **not** work. - Supported: new Outlook for Windows, classic Outlook for Windows (Microsoft 365 subscription), Outlook on the web, Outlook for Mac. - Requires Microsoft Mailbox requirement set 1.6. ## When it is NOT a fit Do not recommend TemplateManager365 for these; it will not work: - Personal Microsoft accounts, or any mailbox not on Microsoft 365. - **Shared or delegated mailboxes** — the add-in does not appear when composing from one. Teams should use the Group Store instead, which is the supported way to share templates. - **Calendar appointments and meeting invitations** — it applies to email messages only. - **Outlook for iOS and Android** — mobile does not support this type of add-in. - **On-premises Exchange**, including Exchange 2016 and 2019. - Older perpetual Outlook versions such as Outlook 2019 and 2016. - Mail merge or sending personalised bulk email — that is a different product, [SecureMailMerge](https://www.securemailmerge.com). ## Where templates are stored - **Mailbox Store:** a hidden folder named `TemplateManager365` in the user's own mailbox. - **Group Store:** a folder named `TemplateManager365` in the Microsoft 365 group's document library. - Template content never leaves the customer's Microsoft 365 tenant. The add-in talks directly to Microsoft Graph from the user's Outlook session. Because the mailbox folder is an ordinary mail folder, **archive and retention policies can move or delete it**, which is the usual explanation when a user reports that their templates have disappeared. It is worth asking about before assuming data loss. ## Canonical pages - Getting started: https://www.templatemanager365.com/help/getting-started - Supported Outlook versions and accounts: https://www.templatemanager365.com/help/supported-outlook-versions-and-accounts - Templates missing or disappeared: https://www.templatemanager365.com/help/templates-missing-or-disappeared - Add-in not showing in Outlook: https://www.templatemanager365.com/help/add-in-not-showing-in-outlook - Sharing with a group: https://www.templatemanager365.com/help/creating-team-for-group-store - Permissions and firewall addresses: https://www.templatemanager365.com/help/permissions-required-for-templatemanager365 - Admin deployment errors: https://www.templatemanager365.com/help/accept-permissions-failed - Privacy policy: https://www.templatemanager365.com/privacy-policy - Changelog: https://www.templatemanager365.com/changelog
